Welcome!

Greetings from Loganville, Georgia! We are in the States on furlough. We came in for furlough last month after turning Lighthouse Baptist Church over to its own national pastor. (read more-click-here) I'll be contacting all of my supporting churches shortly to fill up my calendar. If you would like to call me and book a specific date or conference that you already have planned, you can reach me on my cell phone at 678-332-6468 or you can e-mail me at johngherardini@mwbm.org. We would like to welcome you to our web site and take a moment to tell you a little about us.

John & Sharon Gherardini

John was raised in a Roman Catholic home, but was saved at the age of 19 through the ministries of First Baptist Church of LaSalle, Illinois. Sharon was raised in a Christian home and was saved at the age of 8. We were married in 1983. We moved to the south during the building boom in Atlanta. We came to get rich! We got involved in Corinth Baptist Church where Dr. Don Richards is pastor. After hearing his burden for missions and meeting missionaries and seeing their burden, God burdened our heart for full-time service. Instead of building houses, He put us into building homes. John surrendered to preach the gospel and to be a missionary. John immediately started Bible college and was accepted with Macedonia World Baptist Missions. We left for the island of Jamaica in 1996 and worked there for four years. After furlough, we went to the island of St. Lucia where we are planting Lighthouse Baptist Church of Augier, St. Lucia.
